What this means for you
Mental is 100% free. Enjoy The Daily Deuce, Cold Showers, Pushup Protocol, audiobooks, and music at no cost.
AI therapy is free on The Path. It comes with improved safety, multiple focus areas, and voice-to-voice conversations.
Paying subscribers can get a refund. Since a subscription is no longer needed, you're eligible for a prorated refund. Here is an article explaining how to get the refund.
Your past sessions are safe. They stay viewable in your Mental history.

No. The Path is a separate app, so it won't show up as an update for Mental in your App Store. Just search "The Path" or tap "Get The Path" inside Mental.
Where did my AI therapist go?
Your AI therapist has moved to The Path. Download the app and you can start a new session anytime.
Do my past sessions transfer to The Path?
The Path runs on a separate, highly secure backend to protect your privacy, so past sessions can't be transferred over. They're still available to view anytime in your Mental history.
Where can I find my past sessions?
Open Mental and go to your Mental history.
Do I still need a Mental subscription?
Nope! Mental is now completely free, so you don't need a subscription to use any feature.
I recently paid for a subscription. Can I get a refund?
Yes! Email us at [email protected] with your Mental user ID and we'll issue you a prorated refund. Here's how to find your user ID.

AI therapy on The Path is completely free. Tony AI coaching is an optional paid upgrade for anyone who wants it. If you don't, simply skip it and keep using AI therapy for free.
