On Feb 4th, we encountered a significant bug that led to the Mental app becoming unresponsive when selecting the Daily Do after listening to the Daily Deuce. The worst part of the bug is that, even after quitting and reopening the app, the unresponsiveness continues 😱

This is the worst bug we've ever had in production. We sincerely apologize for the incident, and are working on improving our software delivery and testing practices to make sure a bug of this magnitude never occurs again.

As of Feb 4th at 1:30pm PT, the bug has been fully resolved. It was live in production for about 12 hours.

How Can I get my App working again?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the bug, for those that experienced this issue, the only fix to restore your app's functionality is to uninstall and then reinstall the app from the app store.

Delete your app. Then navigate to the iOS or Android app stores to reinstall the Mental app. On the first page, click "Log In" (you don't need to go through onboarding again).

To safeguard your progress and history, please log in using the same method you used during the account creation process i.e Phone number/Apple Login/Google Login. If you do, all of your progress and history will be preserved.

Once you get back to the homepage again, your app's functionality should be fully restored.
